Our Weight Shift Control Aircraft or "Trikes" are in the "Special Light Sport Aircraft" category and are under FAA regulation for maintenance and inspections. These inspections are only performed by an FAA licensed A&P Mechanic or an FAA Licensed Light Sport Repair Mechanic. There are strict guidelines for the operation and maintenance of these aircraft not unlike their larger certified aircraft cousins. In addition, our Trikes have a "parachute" system that is connected to the entire aircraft adding a second level of peace of mind and safety.

Unlike an automobile that you can take for a drive whenever you like, all aircraft are beholden to the weather. Upon receiving your booking appointment, we will email you to coordinate a convenient date and time. Remember, weather is always changing and sometimes appointment times and dates may have to be modified. We will work with you to get the date and time that works best for you! 

The best weather for flying is right around sunrise. The Earth has not had a chance to heat up and create "thermals" which can cause a "bumpy" ride. During the winter months as temperatures moderate, afternoon flights are available. Sunset flights in Yuma are beautiful and amazing! Once you book your flight, we will coordinate with schedules and weather to get you in the air! We make it easy and convenient!

Absolutely! We encourage it! However, you can also just sit back, relax and enjoy the view! Since all flights are considered instructional, you will receive a free signed log book so you can brag to your family and friends!
